Meteorologist Chris Orr has some free stuff for you including the Big 5 Forecast Weather Events, a look at the five most significant weather events coming up in the next 10 days. Occasionally he comments on current weather trends (like seasonal outlooks or rants on bad science). You can download all of the Big 5 and some podcasts on iTunes.

I encourage you to check out our Precision Forecasts and our long-range Commodity and Risk Management forecasts. They are used by people like you who need an extra level of assurance that the weather will behave as forecast by getting detailed information and by talking to a forecaster.

Chris Orr is a Certified Consulting Meteorologist (one of fewer than 700 in the world) specializing in forecasting for commodity markets, providing expert testimony and assisting in the siting of wind turbines. Chris consults with clients worldwide.

He has worked as a forecaster for major motion pictures, the construction on some of the nation’s tallest buildings, for airlines, power utilities, television, radio, newspaper and much more.

He has more than 30 years of experience as a meteorologist.
